2023 Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 at 7pm at the AFK (348 Fortune Drive) and online via Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent to those who have registered in advance. A meal will be served beginning at 5:45pm for those who participate in-person. Please register in advance using this Google Form by Wednesday, September 20th to help plan the logistics of the evening.
This is an opportunity for AFK members to hear the reports of the past year and discover the programming for the coming year, as well as to elect a new Board of Directors for the fiscal year 2023-2024.
All participants have the right to speak but only the members who are officially registered have the right to vote.
The Board of Directors
It consists of:
– 1 president (elected for 2 years)
– 1 vice-president (elected for 2 years)
– 1 secretary-treasurer (elected for 2 years)
– several councillor (elected for 1 year)
The mandates of the president and the secretary-treasurer end at the general meeting of an odd year, and the vice-president of an even year. This year, the positions up for election are the positions of president and secretary-treasurer for a 2-year term and councillors for a 1-year term.
